Privacy

The György Rauscher Archive is a non-commercial, family-stewarded catalogue. It collects as little personal data as possible.

What is collected

  • The contact form. When you write through /contact (including image-rights and correction submissions), the archive receives what you enter: your name, your email address, the subject you select, and your message. This is used only to reply to you and, where you submit a correction, to log and act on it. Submissions post to a server function and are not shared with third parties for marketing.
  • Server logs. The hosting provider keeps standard technical request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation, as is normal for any website.
  • Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to see how the archive is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited, rough location, and device type. This helps improve the archive and is not used to identify you personally.

What is not collected

  • No advertising or remarketing trackers.
  • No mailing list at launch (any future subscription option would be opt-in and announced).
  • No sale or transfer of personal data.

Corrections and removal

If you have submitted material and want it amended or removed, write through /contact and it will be handled. Image-rights and takedown matters are covered separately on /rights-reproductions.

This page will be updated if the archive’s data practices change; the date above records the last review.
