Magyar Grafika

Magyar Grafika was a Hungarian journal of the graphic and printing arts. It gave György Rauscher his first substantial notice in the press.

Rauscher in Magyar Grafika

In its issue of 1 March 1926, Magyar Grafika introduced Rauscher to its readers as “a strikingly talented young artist,” praising the “sharp sculptural modelling, few and pure colours” of his work (/bibliography#magyar-grafika-1926-03-01). The full quotation is at /biography/hungarian-years.

It returned to him approvingly in September 1927, in its notice of his exhibiting year (/bibliography#magyar-grafika-1927-09-01).
