György Rauscher drew the cover for the December 1928 issue of Scherl’s Magazin, another of the Scherl Verlag titles he worked for in Berlin.

The cover shows a red-haired woman in a pink scarf, her eyes heavily shadowed, with sprigs of pine above her for the season.

The December 1928 attribution is independently confirmed: the catalogue record of the SLUB Dresden names “Rauscher, Georg” as the illustrator. See /biography/berlin-years.
