Önarckép (Self-Portrait), 1921

Önarckép (Self-Portrait) is a 1921 pencil drawing by György Rauscher, made when he was about nineteen.

It is a head-and-shoulders self-portrait, the young man looking out steadily in a jacket and tie, worked in soft pencil with careful modelling. It is signed and dated 1921 at the lower right.

It is one of the early works that predate the 1935 estate catalogue (see /biography/training).
