Prážák bárónő (Baroness Prážák)

Prážák bárónő (Baroness Prážák) is a 1927 oil portrait by György Rauscher, number 31 in the 1935 estate catalogue.

The portrait shows the baroness seated in a bentwood chair against a plain wall, in a dark dress with long ropes of pearls, one hand resting on the chair-back. The handling is soft and tonal.

It is one of the society portraits of his Hungarian years (see /biography/hungarian-years).
