A vadász (The Hunter)

A vadász (The Hunter) is an oil painting by György Rauscher.

It is a bust-length portrait of a man in a hunting jacket and green tie, a broken-open shotgun resting against his shoulder, his moustached face turned to the side against an open landscape and pale sky. The brushwork is loose and painterly. It is signed at the lower left, and the reverse carries the estate stamp of the collector Fenyő György.
