Dr. Hegabus portréja (Portrait of Dr. Hegabus)

Dr. Hegabus portréja (Portrait of Dr. Hegabus), listed in the 1935 catalogue as Dr. H. Z. portréja, is an oil portrait by György Rauscher, number 64 in that catalogue.

It is a half-length portrait of a man in evening dress, a black dinner jacket, white shirt, and black bow tie, painted in loose greys and blacks against a pale ground. It is signed at the lower right.

Little is documented about the sitter beyond the name; the portrait surfaced at auction in London in 2014.
